What an inspiring and trustworthy online brand identity looks like

The logo is just the beginning. The elements that make a small business appear serious and trustworthy online.
Trust is earned in a matter of seconds
A visitor decides almost instantly if your company seems serious. They don't read the text; they observe coherence: colours, fonts, image quality, clarity of information.
The minimum set every company needs
- Logo in variants: colour, white, black, plus a square version for social media
- Palette of 4-6 colours, with an action colour used only on buttons
- Two fonts: one for titles, one for body text
- Defined photography style: either real photos or mock-ups, no chaotic mix
- Tone of voice: how you address the customer, using "you" (singular) or "you" (plural)
Consistency is more valuable than originality
A simple logo, used consistently on the website, offer, invoice, email signature, and social media pages looks more professional than a spectacular logo used haphazardly.
Trust signals we always add
- Real team photos, not just stock ones
- Full company details and address
- Reviews with names and, ideally, their source
- Previous projects with context, not just screenshots
- Clear privacy and return policies
Commonly seen mistakes
- logo with text too small, illegible on mobile
- five shades of blue on the same page
- obviously foreign stock images, with people who don't resemble your customers
- changing identity with every campaign
